Wearing maxi dresses to get you through this summer
The moment I laid eyes on this maxi dress at Target I knew it had been getting to be a winner on my behalf. you'll realize that I tend toward neutral tones and softer colors (if any) so this seems like an exit of my temperature in a way. I’m loving the Nordic-inspired patterns I’ve been seeing around recently!
I wore this dress for a banquet, but can already see myself wearing it to the Farmer’s Market on a Saturday morning too. It’s simple, light, and straightforward to wear. the fabric is wrinkle-prone but it’s alleged to look that way a touch.
I picked a couple of other great maxi dresses to seem into for summertime!
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven
For so long I felt like maxi dresses were quite boring. All I could seem to seek out were basic shirt-style dresses in fabrics that were way too thin and way too see-through. But that was about 5 years ago approximately, and I’m happy to mention they’ve come an extended way.
I love the choices a maxi dress gives you. They are often totally casual and straightforward or dressed up a touch for a nicer event. It all depends on the accessories, makeup, and the way your hair is styled.
To me, a ponytail or messy bun paired with simple jewelry and flat sandals is that the perfect casual thanks to wearing a maxi dress. For date night I’d add wedges, style my hair down, and find some statement earrings to decorate it up a touch more.
