Can You Use ABS Plastic for Concrete Moulds?

Another advantage of ABS Plastic is that the pattern does not wear out as quickly as it does with some rubber mold compounds. Our ABS molds retain their ability to pick up a design from pour number one to pour number 100 and beyond. Rubber suffers more damage than ABS plastic because of the heat generated by concrete curing and the abrasion caused by concrete aggregates, as well as the chemical reaction caused by the cement, which is highly alkaline.
