Analysis of fashion trends in spring and summer 2020 clothing printing pattern

The beautiful print pattern brings a touch of romantic beauty to women. Many styles of catwalks in the spring of 2020 have a large number of colors, from rainbows to polka dots. Floral motifs are the most popular in the spring 2020 print. Large and small flower motifs are printed on hundreds or even thousands of garments. But many designers gave up the ubiquitous mix and match pattern of the previous season, so although the prints are lively, their style is much more restrained than we have seen before.

Today we will take stock of the 2020 spring and summer women's printing fashion trends.

Painting

See the colorful pigment fabrics in the catwalk design in the spring of 2020, including abstract patterns, and of course, floral patterns.

Carolina Herrera's long skirts and dresses are decorated with a large number of painting-style flowers, which are feminine and powerful. This season's Christopher Kane exhibition showcases some seasonal print trends, but for us, painter-like clouds are the most memorable. Finally, some of Tory Burch's garments are made of a fabric that looks like it was spilled with orange-red, blue, and green paint, bringing us some modern art atmosphere.

Embroidered print

Embroidered fabrics are unique in the pattern trend of spring 2020 because it requires a certain degree of handmade skills, which is much more difficult than printed fabrics. The main embroidery we see this season is gorgeous flowers that seem to be perfect for spring.

We love the delicate, natural embroidered prints on Dior's cream dresses. The embroidery technique is incredibly precise, and it makes sense to choose thorny and thorny flowers, especially thistle.

Brocades are a sub-category of our favorite embroidery, and Comme des Garcons and Dries van Noten both show some charming brocade flowers.

Flower design

Flower design is one of the fashion trends that will return on a large scale this spring.

Nature-inspired fashion is nothing new-look at the breathtaking admiration Miranda Priestley showed in The Devil Wears Prada: " Spring flowers? "

As part of the spring print trend for 2020, flowers are used by dresses by many designers, but those really small and exquisite flowers have really caught our attention.

Tory Burch has launched many incredible floral outfits, but one of our favorite is an exquisite strapless dress covered with bright stemmed flower patterns. Givenchy's small print covers the entire body of the model, and some printed fabrics are mainly used to make elegant dresses.

At Stella McCartney's fashion show, there was a spring garden party atmosphere with green plants in the background.

Symmetry mode

Symmetry comes and goes, and we like to make it part of the spring-summer 2020 t-shaped platform. Symmetrical printing can have a variety of effects.

Stella McCartney's symmetrical mirror print is based on black and white stripes and has a puzzling effect. Givenchy's symmetrical print is more classic, combining flowers and geometric shapes. Even Prada, Valentino and Gucci displayed symmetrical designs on several clothes.

Bohemian print

Bohemian patterns always remind us of colorful bazaars and gorgeous scarves. They have a timeless and elegant temperament, and at the same time they are carefree, so we are glad to see them return to the summer 2020 printing trend.

To be fair, in London's Tempo, these prints decorated with various women's clothing actually give a perfect, light holiday print feel. Etro is a brand known for its gorgeous silk scarf designs, so we were not surprised to see Bohemian prints return to her runway.

Tropical plants

If you want to spend a tropical holiday in the next hot months, you can choose tropical patterns. This is one of the better model trends for the summer of 2020. There are a bunch of lively tropical patterns on the stage, featuring a variety of exotic plants, and colorful, let us have the mood to spend some time on the beach.

Versace's tropical print motif is very strong, and a lot of different clothes are made with fabrics with monochrome tropical patterns. Of course, the most notable is the green tropical printed dress worn by Jennifer Lopez at the 2000 Grammy Awards.

We also saw tropical flowers in Fendi, in the form of a holiday suit with a bikini top, and even decorated a handbag in the spring of 2020. These tropical flower patterns even have a little 70's feel. (Angel's free spirit)

Stripe

Stripes are always part of fashion month, so they clearly become a fashion element of the summer runway in 2020. This season's stripes are unique because their styles are fairly non-stripe, they can move in multiple directions, or their thickness varies widely.

Marc Jacobs' horizontal stripes give us a 70s feel. They alternately used thick and thin stripes of similar colors on polo shirts and jumpsuits.

At the Ulla Johnson fashion show, the tie-dye stripes may look a little wobbly and feel completely new, which is very suitable for summer and spring.

Sportmax's striped fabric is also unique. They are a bit hazy and put together to form a pattern, allowing the striped pattern on a piece of clothing to move in several different directions.

Others that brought us super interesting stripes include Otuzara and Stella McCartney.

Animal print

Animal prints as one of the categories are one of the most memorable autumn fashion trends. Although they are still entering the printing trend of spring 2020, they are not as strong.

R13's urban streetwear collection contains the most animal motifs we've ever seen, from orange tiger-print jackets to leopard-print shorts. By the way, this is also one of the few catwalks that are really dedicated to the style of mixed printing. (Fashion goddess wears)

David Koma was also reluctant to let the animal pattern disappear, so he asked the model to go to the catwalk in tight dresses and zebra print tights.

Dolce & Gabbana has a serious jungle theme that combines another seasonal trend-tropical flowers, and a variety of animal-patterned clothing. We saw some modest zebra print skirts at Tod 's, and some leopard print and snakeskin at the House of Holland.

Geometric patterns

In the latest designer collections, geometric figures are presented in a variety of forms, from lattice patterns to incredible architectural shapes, all giving the design a sense of futurism. We like the complex geometric shapes in the spring and summer print trends of 2020, especially those that can change the color of the season.

At Coach, the geometric patterns look very colorful and architectural. We especially like a blue shirt dress with a belt on it, covered with yellow, pink and green triangles.

In Lanvin, geometric figures are combined with rainbow patterns to form a bright and colorful checkerboard, while Balmain goes one step further, showing the beauty of geometric figures in fashion, combining circles with rigid squares.

Tartan

Tartans definitely feel like autumn prints because they are associated with warm and heavy fabrics. However, many designers still believe that they have a place in the spring and summer printing trend of 2020.

Thom Browne showed us a tartan outfit suitable for spring. These pastel outfits and dresses made of gingham tweed are pleasing.

Rokh's plaid pattern stands out. Models wear a variety of plaid tops in different colors, but they all have one thing in common, which is torn effect. Gucci, Sportmax and Burberry also added some grids this season!
