Which Oil is Best For Our Hair?
My question is which oil is best for our hair? You will notice I am not talking about a commercial brand of shampoo or a professional make up remover. I am talking about the actual oil that you use on your hair.
We have all heard the word "Vitamin E" but what exactly is this essential oil and where can you get it? The answer is very simple. It is extracted from fruits and can be found in oils and lotions such as jojoba and Rosemary. You might also be familiar with some more familiar names such as macadamia, babassu, sesame, olive, sesame, Castor, coconut, palm, avocado, etc.
The vitamin E that we are talking about is present in the best quality of oils as those obtained from plants. It is usually a concentrated extract that is taken from the plant through the leaves and then used to balance out the vitamins that your hair might lack.
A great example is almond oil. Its presence in a beauty oil product that we normally use each day helps to improve hair health and ensure the oil is safe for our hair.
There are some essential oils that you should avoid using on your hair. You can also use tea tree oil for hair. Here, i have written benefits of tea tree oil for hair. Some of the more common ones are dandruff cleansers, petrochemicals, Parabens, paraffin wax, dyes, artificial fragrances, alcohol, chlorine dioxide, ammonia, alcohols, preservatives, and additives. These are substances that are detrimental to our health and must be avoided at all costs.
There are other products that you will be able to find at the local salon that contain the most natural hair care products on the market. We are not talking about oils, but shampoos, conditioners, and hair treatments.
Olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, and jojoba oil are your safest bet. All of these are readily available from a local health food store or online. So no matter what it is that you would like to use on your hair, you should be able to find it easily.
I often ask myself "Which oil is best for our hair?" I realize that if I had only ever researched the topic of oils and their benefits, I would have a much better understanding of what I should be looking for in a product.
A few years ago, I had to switch from using commercial products to finding affordable products and homemade hair care products to help me in my battle against dry, frizzy, dull, or oily hair. When I discovered olive oil, my day has been made.
I always go for olive oil when it comes to my scalp health. This is because it is free of many of the things that can affect the scalp and cause breakouts and frizziness, such as:
This does not mean that you should stop using products that are made for hair that is not made for your hair. Use a shampoo, conditioner, or oil on your hair but always make sure to use one that contains the "Best for our hair" seal of approval.
I now realize that I should have used olive oil from the beginning and continue to do so. I could have saved myself so much money by doing so!
