New adidas Yung 1 Colorway Is Coming on the way

adidas is returning to the 90’s for their latest silhouette. Early images and sightings have plagued sneaker articles for months, and we are proud to present the first official images of the shoe.Whether you like it or not, the dad shoe trend is here to stay, and adidas is following up on the massive success of the Yeezy 700 Wave Runner with the release of the equally as chunky adidas Yung 1 Red Blue. Introducing the adidas Yung-1 Collegiate Navy.Inspired by the weird and wonderful footwear designs of the early millennium, the Yung 1’s aggressive aesthetic encapsulates the spirit of early 2000s sportswear.Release details for the Falcon Dorf-inspired lifestyle sneaker have been cloudy so far, but New Zealand-based snappers Knowear have brought us some pictorial clarity in the form of these killer shots. We’ve already taken a look at the clean monochrome adidas Yung 1, but now a new colorway of the sneaker has emerged. The brand-new “Hi-Res Orange” colorway of the YUNG-1 features a bright orange/white/blue upper composed of nubuck, mesh, and suede on top of a sail/tan midsole.

The adidas Yung-1 is almost here. Inspired by the legendary 1997 adidas Falcon Dorf model with a restructured tongue and unique adidas branding, this silhouette seamlessly fits into today’s popular chunky sneaker aesthetic. The semi-new silhouette from the Three Stripes has gathered a mixed reaction from sneakerheads, so the Yung-1 is sure to be an eye-catching model.True to the tech of the era that inspired it, the Yung 1 silhouette features a classic mesh construction with nubuck structural overlays and a wealth of embroidered details. First leaked in Summer 2017, the model is almost exactly the same as the adidas Falcon-Dorf, an old 90’s runner. However, the new version removes the old adidas Performance logos, instead opting for the Originals Trefoil on the tongue. This is countered by a classic EVA midsole with dynamic tooling and a two-tone palette, finished with a durable tricolor rubber outsole.Showcasing the ‘Red/White/Blue’ and ‘Hi-Res Orange’, we get a good look at the bulky, multi-panelled upper and street-ready sole unit.Presented as a mix of red and blue suede coupled with off-white accents, this iteration of the chunky sneaker asserts adidas’ authority as a prominent player in the realms of “dad-wear.”The shoe’s outsole features a adidas torsion plate and black/red colorblocking, but is missing some of the three-stripes branding from the original version, which was of course previously known as the Falcon Dorf.

Adidas Yeezy Boost,Bringing back the Falcon-Dorf as the Yung-1 is an excellent move for adidas. In the last year, chunky runners (otherwise known as “dad” shoes) have taken over the sneaker and fashion scenes. For its colorway, the latest outing of the Yung 1 sneaker assumes a classic Collegiate Navy/Red/White colorway inspired by a ‘90s running model from the adidas archive.Painted in a unique colourway of red, white, and blue, the Yung 1 Red Blue is composed of a vest array of materials, including nubuck, mesh, and suede, on of a comfortable foam midsole. Oversized soles with layered mesh and suede uppers are back, and the Three Stripes has an entire archive of classic models to choose from. Having found success in this lane with the Yeezy 500 that is beginning to arrive in consumers’ hands, adidas did what they do best and dove into their archives for a very timely revival. The revamped Yung-1 features a mesh base for the upper with swirling suede layers centered around the midfoot stripes. The midsole features a series of scored lines as well as a high arch that are geared toward better support in the shoe. The Yeezy Wave Runner vibes are strong, but we expect these to be far more accessible once they drop.

The latest silhouette in the adidas Originals arsenal has been spotted in numerous colorways already. The shoe’s outsole features an adidas torsion plate for added support, and to round it all off, Three Stripe branding adorns the side panels for the signature adidas look. The adidas Yung-1 first revealed in a cream color scheme, pairs decked out in bright orange began to surface online.Trefoil branding on the tongue adds the finishing touch, culminating in a bold retro-inspired runner that places classic millennial design language into a clean new context. Soon after, rumors of a collaboration between adidas and Dragon Ball Z that included the new Yung-1. Now, we have our first look at the shoe in official images from adidas. The upper of this new colorway is dominated by a bright red hue, with navy blue accents featured prominently as well. The toe box and eyestays come in chalk white, matching the midsole. There’s no stateside release date or price for this brand-new YUNG-1 colorway, but look for them to release in Europe June 20th.
