Definition and thickness classification of acrylic organic board, and acrylic board is divided into casting board and Extrusion board according to production process

Acrylic is a kind of plexiglass, acrylic board has good transparency and anti-aging properties, and has applications in construction, advertising, transportation, medicine, industry and lighting industry.

1. According to the performance, it can be divided into impact resistant plate, ultraviolet resistant plate, ordinary plate and special plate, such as high impact resistant plate, flame retardant plate, frosted plate, metal effect plate, scratch resistant acrylic sheet, light guide plate, etc.

Acrylic organic board (classified by thickness) 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm

The size and area of the board are generally 1200 * 2400mm, 1250 * 245mm, 1500 * 2000mm, 2000 * 3000mm and 2050 * 3050mm.

Plate needs to be customized, generally 12 pieces!

No matter what we buy, we have to maintain it in order to keep it fresh and bright. So how should acrylic products be maintained?

First, when the temperature of acrylic is about 70 ℃, it will deform. When it is heated to more than 100 ℃, it will soften. Therefore, it should be avoided to apply to places above 100 ℃.

Second, acrylic polishing, if it is a small scratch, you can directly use toilet paper or cloth with a little toothpaste to wipe, if it is a big scratch, don't use sandpaper to grind, then the product will be scrapped, the whole surface will be scratched, it will be worse.

Third, acrylic should take soft cloth to scrub, do not use any cleaning agent containing granular objects, do not use a variety of chemical bath agent to scrub.

Fourth, acrylic is easy to crack, take and place should pay attention to the wear surface and handle gently, do not fall!!!

Fifthly, the coefficient of thermal expansion of acrylic is large, so the temperature change should be considered when it is placed or fixed, and there should be room for expansion and contraction.

Sixth, if acrylic products are not damaged, IPS adhesive, dichloromethane adhesive or quick drying agent can be used.

Seventh, if you want acrylic products to be bright, you can use liquid polishing wax and wipe it with a soft cloth.

2. Acrylic plate is divided into casting plate and extrusion plate according to production process

casting molding

The mold is needed for casting. The molten acrylic acid is poured into the mold and allowed to stand for several hours until it becomes a semi-solid and can be removed from the mold.

After the plate leaves the mold, it is transferred to the high-pressure furnace. The high-pressure furnace is a kind of special machinery, which functions like a pressure cooker and an oven. The high-pressure furnace uses heat and pressure to extrude bubbles from the plastic, making it more transparent and more solid. It usually takes several hours in the high-pressure furnace.

After taking out the formed acrylic from the high-pressure furnace, the surface and edge need to be polished several times. First use small particle sandpaper and then replace it with soft cloth wheel to ensure the smooth and transparent surface of acrylic.

Extrusion molding

The raw material of acrylic acid particles is added into the extruder, and the machine will heat the raw material to about 150 ℃ to make it viscous.

Then, it is sent between two roller presses to flatten the melted plastic into uniform sheet by pressure, and then the sheet is cooled to solidify the acrylic sheet.

The sheet can be cut into the required size, polished and polished. Extrusion can only press out thinner sheet, but can not produce other shapes and thicker sheet
