Men's Designer bracelets

◍ Men's designer bracelets; 5 of the hottest designs

Recently there has been a surge in popularity for mens jewellery and in particular mens designer bracelets. If you scour Instagram or Pinterest, you will see hundreds of images of men with a variety of wrist candy. Not just on social media but celebrities, musicians and actors have all been seen adorning their wrists with metal, leather, fabric and beads.

When choosing bracelets for men you have to be picky about what you look for, you don’t want to really go for anything too feminine at the risk of looking like you have raided your mum or girlfriends jewellery box. But you also don’t want to go too overboard with something too bulky at the risk of it drawing too much attention. They key is to mix textures, metals and fabrics subtly to ensure a more elegant, chic and masculine look.

To start with you need a few key staples, a silver bangle maybe a couple of leather bracelets and possibly a copper one. Then you can mix them around depending on if you are going to work or heading out for the evening. You also want to think about your watch (if you wear one) as you will want your bracelets to seamlessly match alongside your watch or watches. Do check out our do’s and don’ts on how to style mens bracelets below.

How to wear a bracelet

Keep it simple – simple colours, style and pattern, look stylish and casual. Stack bracelets together from the same colour family, try not to mix clashing colours or styles as it will end up looking gaudy.

Match to outfit – if you are wearing casual, keep the colours and styles natural muted leather and soft copper tones will look good. If you are wearing smart attire and keep it classic with dark leather bracelets and minimalistic silver ones.

Leather styles – braided, thin, dark colours and muted tones are the safest bet, mix and match them with other leather bracelets or your watch.

Silver safe – Staple bracelet for all men, suits all skin tones, goes with all smart and casual outfits and occasions. Looks great with denim and casual tee’s and it also looks great with smart shirts, suits and jackets.

Keep the glitz to a minimum - if you have any super sparkly numbers wear them on their own so your wrist doesn’t look to overcomplicated or over the top.

Everyday bracelets – for work or casual day time events keep it minimal with dark leather, muted metals like silver or copper. Go for slimmer styles so that if you do stack two or three together or if stacked with your watch the combination will still look subtle.

Yes, we couldn’t agree more, copper bracelets are a classic choice and there are so many styles available to suit his personality. A lot of copper bracelets that we have also have magnets in them which help with a number of ailments and are harmless if he doesn’t. Copper is a natural element and will last him a lifetime – it will be gift that he can cherish forever.

How can I keep my bracelets clean?

Keep your metal bracelets, whether they are steel, copper, silver or brass clean with water and gentle soap.
