Massimo Piombini is leaving his position as Managing Director of Balmain
A press release from the luxury house Balmain announces the departure of Massimo Piombini. According to the press release, the reason for this departure is for personal reasons.
Also in the press release, Balmain adds that under Mr. Piombini's leadership: "the company has undergone significant organizational growth and evolution, establishing a solid foundation for the future growth of the brand in the coming years. »
It is important to remember that, the man who became the former general manager of the luxury brand, before joining Balmain in April 2017, was commercial director of another luxury house for more than 11 years: the fashion house VALENTINO.
According to information provided by Balmain, a new General Manager will be appointed in February 2020.
It's an eventful year-end for the luxury brand. Apart from this rather negative news, however, it is becoming increasingly popular with the millennial generation.
Popularity thanks to the hard work of artistic director Olivier Rousteing, who managed to combine the ultra-connected world of the Millenials, through social networks (see our article on Balmain and TIKTOK here) and the brand.
