Home Remedies for Dark Lips
It is everyone’s dream to have soft, supple and pink lips! But sometimes due to overuse of cosmetics, age or other medical issues, or just the simple drying of the lips, they tend to become darker. Tumeric and milk pack

- 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder

- Leave this mixture overnight
- Wash off with lukewarm water and apply a good lip balm

Coconut oil lip treatment
Coconut oil is known for its nourishing and healing properties and it will help soothe the lip area. Here, we will give you a recipe that uses coconut milk and coconut oil.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon of coconut milk
- 1 vitamin E capsule
Method:
- Use a hand whisk and whisk together all the above ingredients until they are well blended.
- Apply the mixture on clean lips.
- You can use this mixture throughout the day or as and when required.

Rosewater and glycerine

- 5 ml of rose water
- 5 ml of glycerine
- 2 ml of water

Pomegranate lip treatment

- 1 tablespoon pomegranate juice
- Fresh milk cream

- Mix all the above ingredients in a clean and dry container.

Cocoa butter lip cream
This is a highly rich and nourishing lip treatment cream that repairs skin overnight. You will wake up to the softest and supple lips with this intensive treatment. Though this takes a little bit of time to make, it is worth the effort. Let me share with you the recipe.
Ingredients
- 20 grams of pure organic shea butter
- 10 grams of beeswax
- 1 spoon of honey
- 1 vitamin E capsule
Method:
- Put the beeswax over a double boiler and wait until it melts. Then gradually add in the shea butter and let it also melt.
- Take the container off the heat and add in the other ingredients.
- Make sure you give it all a good whisk, to ensure all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Once done, pour the mixture in a clean and dry container.
- Remember, this is a good recipe for a homemade lip balm and this can be stored for as long as you would like.
Cucumber lip pack
Cucumber is rich in antioxidants and is great for a hydrating lip pack that will also help fight against pigmentation. All you have to do is blend a few slices of cucumber into a coarse paste.
