Pakistani Celebrities Applaud Speedy Justice In Zainab Rape Case

Earlier this year in January the whole nation was shook by the brutal rape and murder of 7-year old Zainab in Kasur. Everyone from the civil society, politicians and showbiz fraternity came together to ask for justice, and as a result of continuous efforts the murderer Imran Ali was hanged today in Lahore. The accused was also involved in rape and murder of seven other minor girls, hence he was given an accumulated 21 times hanged till death capital punishment. This comes off as an historic event in a country where prolonged court cases – often without a fruitful end
