In fashion news: Bottega Veneta to air a series of films for the launch of its latest collection
Respected and renowned Australian label R.M. Williams has announced it has partnered with the Australian team for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018. In turn, the brand have unveiled the final Opening and Closing Ceremony uniforms, modelled by swimmer Britnay Elmslie, athletics competitor Torita Blake, triathlon competitor Matt Hauser and diver Dom Bedggood. Complete with a print designed by Indigenous artist, Jenna Lee, the line is made up of a sports blazer, chinos and shorts, shirting, a polo, handcrafted belts, as well as pocket squares for the men and scarves for the women.
Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta has released its spring/summer '18 campaign, taking the form of a series of six cinematic films directed by Fabien Barron. Titled Reflections, the narratives of the films will begin to reveal themselves as each clip airs over the course of the season, however each will find itself centred on the label’s pillars of mystery, sophistication, architecture, sensuality and surrealism. Oscar nominated cinematographer Philippe Le Sourd, set designer Stefan Beckman and record-producer and composer Johnny Jewel also worked on the campaign alongside Barron.
