One of the biggest hits to get London Fashion Week started was the new Fyodor Golan collection, which took us all on a flight of fancy, with a collection drawing on the abstract, space and flight travel, with globes dotting the runway.

Lots of rainbow stripes were on display, but most impressively displayed in one outfit with a billowing parachute-like train.
Movement is central to this collection, as the silk and satin flowed with the model’s movement, making the show a truly dramatic delight. Inspirational 1970s-style sportswear made use of bomber jackets, track suits and straps.
The collection drew on a palette of black, white, blue, grey and silver, but some cream dresses, including a plain cream dress with black lacing, showed Golan can do beautiful simplicity as well.
